I was walking back home through the village last night, and feeling thirsty, decided to stop in for a cup of tea at Old Zhang’s place, which is just over the way from the local butcher’s.
I sat down and nodded hello to the other villagers sat there smoking their cigars, but didn’t dare make a sound as the butcher – Da Zhu as we call him, was recounting a most peculiar tale about a wolf…
